Wallabies are marsupials which means they raise there young in pouches.


Wallabies originate from Australia and Tasmania

Although they mainly jump, they can crawl and even swim.


Bennet was a famous wallaby who parachuted into Tasmania.


Whilst they are mainly solitary they do form groups when they feed - these groups are known as mobs.


Bennett’s wallabies eat mainly grass and can live upto 7 years old.


CONSERVATION STATUS - LEAST CONCERN 


An orange sign that says did you know a bennetts wallaby can jump upto 6 ft high.
